The Standard Bank of South Africa Limited is one of South Africa’s largest financial services groups. It is headquartered in Johannesburg and operates in 27 African countries and other key markets around the world. Standard Bank is Africa’s biggest lender by assets.
Safika and Standard Bank have reciprocal shareholdings and maintain a close working relationship. Safika’s Saki Macozoma was formerly deputy chairman of Standard Bank and chairman of the Bank’s large subsidiary, Liberty Holdings.
